Bulletin of NULL Results

Bulletin of NULL Results (nullRxiv) founded by the 5GH Foundation, is a multidiscipline preprint service for global researchers, mainly focuses on:

(1) Studies with NULL results, namely the NULL hypothesis can not be ruled out;

(2) Studies with negative results;

(3) Studies with replication of previous ones, but can provide novel insight;

(4) Studies on meta-science.

Recently, the academic publishing industry grows exponentially, with millions of research articles published every year. However, those studies with NULL and/or negative results are hardly published, and their experiences are not shared among the scientific community, wasting the time and money of other researchers who may have similar scientific interest.

On the other hand, although most research articles claim great progress is done, a large number of them are not replicable. This may be due to authors' misunderstanding about the results, intentionally not sharing the experimental details, and false/fabricated data and/or images. These publications cause misleading, however, the scientific community is usually not cautioned about them.

Therefore, the 5GH Foundation and our allies set up this preprint, Bulletin of NULL Results (nullRxiv), to allow the researchers in the globe to share their knowledge and experiences which is hardly published on the ordinary academic journals. The editorial board encourages the researchers in the globe to share their finding, and to comment on the articles on this preprint. Submissions and/or review reports can be sent to NULL@5gh.org.cn

General enquiries are also welcome to be sent to NULL@5gh.org.cn
